Choosing the right diamonds
Choosing the stone, you must exactly know, what are you want to buy. And GerettiDiamonds will help you in that. Before choice of the right diamond we want educate you. First of all it is 4C's: Carat, Cut, Clarity, Color.
Carat. Diamonds are always measured in carat weight. 1 (one) carat is equivalent of 1/5 of a gramm. In simple words its size of diamonds. More than a carats, more than a diamond. Its very important parameter of a diamonds, but not only that determines a diamonds value.
      
Cut. Cut is the most misunderstood and underestimated C of 4C's. Cut is properly reffered to as the
«make» or quality of the way the diamond has been crafted. The cut of the diamond is the only C that is entirely manipulated by the diamond cutter, and will determine the beauty and value of diamond. On the picture below you can see main characteristics of cutting, wich determine cutting quality.
Clarity. Almost every diamond will contain some blemishes and inclusions formed during the course of its crystalization. The diamonds clarity grade refers to the visual impact of these characteristics or lack thereof, as viewed under 10x loupe magnification. There is a grading structure (GIA clarity grading scale) used to describe inclusions found within diamond.
     
Color. The «color» of a diamond refers to the presence or absence of inherent coloration in a white diamond. The whiter the diamond is a greater is value since a colorless diamond will allow increased light to pass through it and will consequently emit a greater amount of fire and brilliance.
